This is a very exciting time of year for the sport of professional rodeo. As we head into the 49th annual Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, December 6-15 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, our headliner contestants prepare to do battle for the gold buckles.

With a record $5.5 million on the line, no lead is safe at ProRodeo's Super Bowl. The NFR is the richest and finest hour of an already action-packed season that's featured some 650-plus Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association-sanctioned events coast-to-coast.

More than 33 million fans attend our events each season, and the NFR is an annual sellout. It's a spectacular fight to the finish for the cream of our cowboy and cowgirl crop, so we're very proud of this crowning event.

The NFR is ProRodeo's showcase event in every aspect. It not only features our very best contestants, but the sport's most decorated and renowned livestock as well. It's a reunion place for all people who love rodeo, from our dedicated committeemen and women, to our stock contractors and contract personnel.

Rodeo fans who make the trek to Vegas will be treated to a second-to-none entertainment experience, from the action in the arena itself to interactive fun out front of the Thomas and Mack in our ProRodeo Zone. Those who take it all in from home can catch the 10-day drama that is the NFR on our daily ESPN2 and ESPN broadcasts and look us up online at prorodeo.com, which will keep you current on all the facts, figures and standings. Each performance and special interviews will also be aired daily on ProRodeo Radio Network.

Thank you all for sharing this great ride with us.
